Project Result 1 - Report on Burnout: Literature Review and Survey on Needs Assessment (Pr1)
The Erasmus+ Burnout Free ECI project is now in the first phase of the project, Project result 1 - Report on Burnout: Literature Review and Survey on Needs Assessment (Pr1). Our main aim for Pr1 is to complete a comprehensive literature review and to share a survey with parents and professionals.
Pr1 represents an opportunity to create a very complex and accurate image of the development of services and programs of early intervention for children with disabilities.
Pr1 will focus on developing a European and International literature review on burnout affecting professionals and parents with children with disabilities within the context of early childhood intervention services, followed by a needs assessment survey related to burnout per partner organization and respective assessment tools regarding the identification of early childhood intervention professionals ‘and parents’ with children with disabilities needs.
There will be also an evaluation of the perspective of managers of partner organizations within the consortium regarding their view on burnout, strengths and weaknesses, strategies, risks, interventions and actions. The valuable contribution of each partner will be included in a final report so that accessible information and sources become available for all authorities, specialists and parents.
It is important to have a deep and accurate knowledge of how early childhood intervention becomes efficient in terms of adequate support for the needs of professionals and parents regarding such a challenging theme which is burnout.
Knowledge, skills, competencies and best practices need to be acknowledged, learned and shared within partner organizations, also to the extent of other service providers and direct beneficiaries.
