2nd Transnational Project Meeting and Workshop of the ‘Burnout FREE ECI Project’

2nd Transnational Project Meeting and Workshop of the ‘Burnout FREE ECI Project’

In the framework of the implementation of the Burnout FREE ECI Project “Burnout of Professionals and Parents with Children with Disabilities: Prevention, common challenges and mutually empowering methodologies and practices in Early Child Intervention Services” (No: 2021-1-EL01-KA220-ADU-000035230) under the Erasmus+ Programme, KA220-ADU-Cooperation partnerships in adult education, coordinated by AMIMONI and managed by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), all partners associated with the project had the opportunity to meet in Zagreb, Croatia, for our second transnational meeting and for our first Workshop on ‘Burnout Free ECI Training Material & Content for Professionals and Parents’ on the 14th & 15th July 2022. Those that could not attend in person, were virtually present. Luckily most of the partners were able to attend in person which contributed to lively discussions and certainly to build better relations among partners.
On our Transnational meeting, we went through a short overview of the project results, timeline, roles and responsibilities of each partner. We also discussed, in more details, Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Evaluation Plan, Sharing and Promotion Activities, as well as Administrative & Financial procedures and appropriate documentation.

We had our first report and presentation of preliminary results of the “Project Result 1: Literature Review & Survey on Needs Assessment”, from the colleagues of the leading partner - UNIVERSITATEA BABES BOLYAI from Cluj, Romania. The leading partner reported on the progress of the results until now and both the leading partner and the participants reflected on PrR1 preliminary results. In addition, further steps were determined on what else is needed and what would be the best way for all partners to contribute to the finalization of PrR1.
Thereinafter, the E-learning game (PrR4) was presented by the leading partner - THEOFANIS ALEXANDRIDIS KAI SIA EE, Omegatech, Greece. Presentation of potential scenarios of the E-learning game, definition of technical specifications and requirements and discussion led by the Omegatech representative brought in lots of creative ideas regarding the design and development of the E-learning game.
Representative from Mindfulness Greece App, the first Greek Application on mindfulness and well-being, presented mindfulness as a way of thinking and living, its usefulness and significance in people’s lives, as well as ways of incorporating mindfulness and its techniques in the Burnout FREE ECI Project.
Colleagues from the University of Zagreb lead the workshop that was designed in a way that all partners could contribute and work together on developing the structure of the Burnout Free ECI Training Material & Content for Professionals and Parents (PrR2). During the workshop, successfully led by the leading partner, we had a great and fruitful discussion. Participants were very concise, very active, and they managed to structure the preliminary Training Material content. After the workshop, all partners have a common understanding of the aim of this Project Result and that it is the basis for creating a good training program. All partners will follow up, review and comment in July and August 2022.
